拓荒者14日主場迎戰雷霆，在團隊攻勢流暢的情況下，拓荒者在第二節打出36比21攻勢，就此讓比賽定調，終場便以114比95贏球，中止近日的4連敗。
亟欲止敗的拓荒者在首節便攻下32分高分，但雷霆靠著Russell Westbrook和Steven Adams聯手，也拿下31分緊咬不放。次節比賽拓荒者眾將接連跳出來得分，Damian Lillard上半場終了前漂亮切入左手上籃得手，成功投進壓哨球的同時也瓦解雷霆士氣，奠定比賽勝基。
總計拓荒者共有6名球員得分上雙，Lillard拿下全隊最高17分，傳出9次助攻，Mason Plumlee也有18分進帳，替補上陣的Evan Turner則攻下14分。
本場比賽早早就進入垃圾時間，Westbrook僅上場27分鐘拿下20分，是他12月以來單場得分新低，至於Adams則拿下14分。
雷霆後衛Victor Oladipo因為右手腕受傷的關係無法出賽，由Jerami Grant頂替先發，這是雷霆本季首次更動先發陣容，最後Grant拿下11分表現還算稱職。
